We have more sixties shots coming up soon. The clothing in the images is for sale and is either original or retro inspired and we will make it very clear which is which.
I am looking forward to a photo shoot later this month. We will start with the genuine 70’s retro and The Triumph Stag then onto the 50’s inspired fashion and the Zephr Zodiac and motorbike from the same era.
We just love what we do, working with like minded photographers and models who share our interest of retro and vintage cars, scooters and motorbikes and the best of retro and vintage inspired fashion.
We are about to upload the sixties shoot from earlier this summer. In. one of the shots you will see our sixties model on a Vespa scooter. She is wearing a genuine preloved Mod Ben Sherman Navy blue three quarter overcoat (mens medium £50 including UK postage), it has a velvet upper lapel and although originally for a man looks fab on a lady.. Our model is wearing a yellow mini skirt by Bennetton (we gave that to the model as a little thank you for a job well done).
We teamed that with. a black skinny polo neck with frilled chiffon and sequinned frilled cuff (shown in current image). The same detail is at the base of the polo neck. ( preloved size 10/12 £12 including uk postage. You may pay by any credit or debit card using our Paypal system. All we need is your email address to help you make your purchase.
Retro Fashion Facts Mod’s and Skinheads The Ben Sherman overcoat looked quite like the Crombie overcoat popular with the skinheads too in the late sixties. You would of worn this with Levi staypress trousers, a Ben Sherman checked shirt. Ivy brogue shoes which had a very thick all leather sole or Doc Martin Boots, don’t forget the two inch wide red braces and the pork pie hat. We are selling the coat for £50 including UK postage is this MADNESS.?
